Grandmaster Sallahudin’s training history touches literally six generations beginning in 1954 in Japan while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Stays in Korea, Okinawa, and Japan have helped influenced him in the blending of skills and systems offered by these areas into the foundation of the art for which he received his Sokeship in 1983, Oshirokan Budo Bujtsu.

Since 1981, while still keeping an eye on students and classes, Grandmaster Sallahudin turned his major involvement to Martial Arts Organizations and their related projects and efforts. He has worked always in affiliation with the Asian American Martial Arts Federation under the direction of Prof. Ronald Duncan and Dr. Richard Wigginton his mentors and guides.
