During the 70's and 80's Master Fuzy traveled extensively competing in tournaments and excelling at forms. At a time when Black Belt Kata division was divided into Men's and Women's, Master Fuzy insisted on being allowed to compete with the men. During one three year period she competed in two to three tournaments a month never taking any less than 2nd place.

In 1994 Master Fuzy became the second woman inducted in "The International Karate And Kickboxing Hall Of Fame". She was a member of the professional demo team "Kicks", and is a member of the Board of American Martial Arts Training Centers.
