As I told Sensei Born when this web site started, " By the time we get to your Bio., all that will be left to work with will be; "Matthew Born, a Black Belt unique unto himself".

Well we are here finally. We thought we had found another possibility, but we both decided to pass on; "Grilled to perfection", so, please just let me say;

Sensei Matthew Born began training under Grandmaster Fuzy in June 1987 while still in high school.  His character reflects his strength. This even keeled young man is not afraid to work in order to get ahead in life. You've known the type, positions of responsibility even at a young age; constantly moving onward and upward, and never missed a day at any of his jobs. 

Eventually Sensei Born zeroed in on a career choice, and passed the grueling schedule and requirements to become a registered nurse within the world-renowned Northeastern Ohio medical community. 

The classes that Sensei Born teaches reflect his personality traits of commitment, self-discipline, and goal setting.  These are the very qualities necessary for students to be successful in the Martial Arts as well as successful life.  "Matthew Born, a Black Belt unique unto himself".
