Date Started Martial Arts: November 1986
Sensei Jason Smith began his training with Grandmaster Fuzy at the original Broadway location while still in High School.  Once a Black Belt he continued to teach at headquarters until October of 2004, when he opened “Smith’s School Of Martial Arts”, an American Martial Arts Training Centers school, in Norwalk, Ohio.

Sensei Smith expanded his curriculum of classes in American Ji Do Kwan and Tai Chi Chuan, to also include classes in MMA.  And, just as his Karate students compete regularly at tournaments, his Shoot Fighters, compete regularly in sanctioned bouts.

Proudly family orientated, his family seems proudly right back. Easy to smile and quick to laugh he lightened many a snowy morning cup of coffee when he was still teaching at the Lorain dojo.

His respect for his fellows is high. In return he is held in high esteem by them.
