Date Started Martial Arts: August 1992
Sensei Ivan Zagar followed his older brother’s example, and went to Grandmaster Fuzy for instruction in the Martial Arts.  From day one Ivan applied himself, showing the qualities of maturity, commitment, focus, and a work ethic that we had come to expect from someone named Zagar.

His European background, by way of Croatia, has left this naturalized American citizen with the tools to follow the “American Dream” to it’s fullest.  Education, hard work, and good decision-making are an ingrained part of Sensei Zagar’s life style.

Sensei Zagar has lighthearted moments that are an endearing personality trait, and, at times, serve as a complementary foil for Grandmaster Fuzy.

This young husband, businessman, and Black Belt has a bright future that stretches out before him.  All manner of things are possible with the right attitude.
